I am testing TeamSpeak 3 voice quality and seeing whether it's a better system to use. Since our GuildLaunch Ventrilo server is paid up for the next year, we can have both systems up in parallel and I plan on testing the TS3 server slowly over time to figure out which system is the most convenient for the guild. I don't plan on changing which voice system we use for several months until everyone has had a chance to weigh in on what system they like (especially the LOTRO folks). At at minimum, we have 12 months before any switch is made.

I have installed a widget on the right side of our guild page for both Ventrilo and TeamSpeak to let everyone see who is on what. If you see people on one, try out the server and say hi, and coordinate which server you'd like to try out. Connection details for both servers are as follows:


Ventrilo:
hostname: voiceA1304.guildlaunch.net

password: same a before

TeamSpeak 3

Password: Same as before


We will discuss this at the next guild meeting(s) and each meeting afterwards to get everyone's feedback.
